TIMBER 5 is the ideal entry into the competition area, with moderate speed but high control values thanks to maximum ball feel. TIMBER 7 stands for more hardness and is a suitable alternative for variable topspin players who find blades with synthetic interlayers too direct and hard to the touch. The TIMBER 5 DEF is the blade of the Basic Line, with the highest control values. The secret to this enormous ball control lies in the walnut middle veneer and the thin limba outer veneer. They tend to dampen rather than generate speed. Geometry and weight balance are optimized for defensive play. They facilitate handling at a distance and support ball feel.
