THE DONIC EPOX SYSTEM: EVERY BLADE A UNIQUE PIECE For the blades in the EPOX series, the veneers are glued with an epoxy resin adhesive film. The veneers are pressed under pressure and with the addition of heat, so that the epoxy film liquefies and firmly bonds everything together. For the core and intermediate layers, only veneers from a single piece are used, and no veneer pieces are joined together. Thus, only one blade is made from each pressed board – creating high-quality unique pieces. The special bonding technique gives the blades a special stiffness, which leads to increased dynamics and excellent control values, and eliminates unpleasant vibrations. The edges at the transition from the handle to the blade are carefully rounded. This makes the blades particularly comfortable to hold and facilitates changing grips. Due to their thin outer veneers, these blades are also very lightweight.
