THE DONIC EPOX SYSTEM: EACH BLADE IS UNIQUE For the blades of the EPOX series, the veneers are glued with an adhesive film made of epoxy resin. The veneers are pressed under pressure and heat, so that the epoxy film liquefies and everything is firmly bonded. For the core and intermediate layers, only veneers from a single piece are used, and no veneer pieces are joined together. Thus, only one blade is made from each pressed sheet – creating high-quality unique pieces. Due to the special bonding technique, the blades achieve a special stiffness, which leads to increased dynamics and excellent control values, and eliminates unpleasant vibrations. The edges at the transition from the handle to the blade are carefully rounded. This makes the blades particularly comfortable to hold and facilitates changing grip.
